Hi! I’m Kate.

As your transition coach, I can help you manage whatever life change you are contemplating or facing. We will work together to prioritize what you need as you work through your new reality.

My Story:

I am grateful to continue in an amazing career as a school counselor and administrator. Working in this field for 25 years has taught me what is needed to help others; empathy, kindness, effective listening skills, and knowledge. My years of experience helping students and families manage transitions transfers beautifully to my coaching practice. Students and families can experience overwhelm and I help them navigate the journey, just like I do with coaching. I am able to manage my school counseling day job, as well as my coaching practice because I love helping others. It gives me joy, and therefore, I look forward to this work.

I decided to try my hand at coaching because I myself found benefit from working with my own life coach. I received my certification through Health Coach Institute https://www.healthcoachinstitute.com/ Through HCI, I learned that to be an effective coach, one needs to stay on the client’s map. Coaching is all about helping clients find what is realistic and doable for them in creating sustainable change. Coaching isn’t about telling someone what to do, it is helping guide the client to tap into their inner voice which holds the answers.

Caregiving coaching is especially close to my heart as I know first hand what it is like to have had a parent be diagnosed with dementia. Watching someone you love be impacted this way, takes a mental toll. I can provide clients with simple and easy stress management techniques, direction to help the loved one find the care they need, and support in dealing with the grief the diagnosis of dementia can bring.

During our free 45 minute consultation call, I will listen to what you need, and explain how my coaching program can help you get there. Contact me via email at Katelovescoaching@gmail.com
